25 סוגים של צבים מדהימים שכנראה לא ידעתם על קיומם ונמצאים בסכנת הכחדה

הנה עובדה שלא הכרתם וכנראה שבצדק: השבוע התקיים יום הצב הבינלאומי. הכוונה היא ליום שמוקדש לזוחלים המגניבים עם השריון ולא ליום אבל שמציין את השירות של דואר ישראל (זה מבלבל. ידוע). בעולם יש יותר מ-300 מיני צבים בגדלים שנעים בין 8 ס”מ לשני מטרים והמטרה של היום הזה היא לגרום לאנשים להכיר קצת יותר את הזוחל הזה, שלא זוכה בדרך כלל ליותר מדי תשומת לב.

כמעט חצי ממיני הצבים בעולם נמצאים במידה כזאת או אחרת בסכנת הכחדה והסיכויים לא נראים ממש לטובתם, אלא אם כן בני האדם יתחילו להתאפס על עצמם ויתגייסו לעשות משהו טוב למענם. אז לכבוד יום הצב הבינלאומי וכדי להעלות את המודעות לזוחלים החביבים שאף אחד לא באמת סופר אותם, הנה 25 מינים מיוחדים של צבים וצבי מים שכנראה לא הכרתם והם לא פחות ממדהימים.
