30 איורים מצחיקים שמראים מה היה קורה אם בני אדם וחתולים היו מתחלפים בתפקידים

היחסים בין בני אדם לחתולים הם דבר די קבוע, גם אם פלילי למראה. הבנאדם מפנק, החתול שורט. הבנאדם מלטף, החתול שורט. הבנאדם מאכיל, החתול מקיא לו בתוך נעלי הבית. מדי פעם יש הבעת אהבה או איזה גרגור מתמסר, אבל מדובר במשהו רגעי וחולף. ככה זה עם חתולים.

אולי יום אחד חתולים יבינו שזה לא לעניין איך שהם מתנהגים. אולי תהיה אפשרות להראות להם שהדרך שבה הם מתייחסים לבעלים ולשאר בני האנוש היא די כפויות טובה. למשל, שפעם האחת הבעלים שלהם יתייחס אליהם כמו שהם מתייחסים אליו. או, יותר טוב, שיחליפו תפקידים. שהחתול יהיה הבעלים והבעלים יתנהג כמו חתול.

ההחלפה הזאת בין התפקידים היא גם הרעיון שעומד מאחורי הקומיקס Manfried the Man שיצרה המאיירת קייטלין מייג’ור. סדרת הקומיקס הזאת עוסקת בבן אנוש קטן בשם מנפריד ששייך לבעלים שלו, סטיב, חתול רווק בגיל העמידה. מנפריד הוא אדם-חתול זעפן, עצלן וגרגרן שאוהב להפיל דברים מהשולחן בכוונה וסתם לנוח בשמש.

האיורים בסדרה של מנפורד האיש מוצלחים כי זה ממש מצחיק ומוזר לראות יצור אנושי מתנהג כמו חתול – נתקע עם הראש בתוך שקית או צד עכברים ומתמרח בדם שלהם. אבל הכי מצחיק זה לראות את החתול כמבוגר האחראי, זה כבר באמת על גבול המדע הבדיוני.
